Abstract : A complete design of a 300W DC off-line power suppIy is presented using a Zero-Voltage-Switched inverter. A fill bridge ZVS inverter is analyzed and implemented.The design proceeds using traditional Puke-Width-Modulation techniques and ismodified to incorporate ZVS switching capability. Paaicu1a.r attention is paid to theadvantages of ZVS soft switching and improved high frequency operation. Tradeoffsbetween cIassical PWM operation and ZVS operation such as maximum available dutycycle and required ZVS components are examined. Minimum Ioad cumnt for ZVSoperation is analyzed.
