Abstract	:	The objective of this project was to completely characterize the reflective bandsof the Landsat 4 Thematic Mapper so that a cross calibration to Landsat 5 ThematicMapper would be possible and, then, to attempt that cross calibration. This entailedanalyzing the internal calibrator to verify the system was stable throughout the life of theinstrument, applying existing correction models to the data to remove scan correlatedshift and memory effect artifacts, and determining and applying a relative gain model tothe data.
