Abstract	:	Specimens of the Zn-22 A1 eutectoid alloy were processed by equal-channelangular pressing (ECAP) through a total of 8 passes at 473 K using processing route Bc.Following ECAP, the grain size was measured as -1.2 + 0.1 pm. Tensile specimens,having gauge lengths of 4 mm, were cut from the as-pressed billets and tested at strainrates of 1.0 x , 3.3 x and 1.0 x lo-' s-'. Marker lines were placed on thespecimens prior to testing and these markers were used to take measurements of the grainboundary sliding offsets in the transverse direction at an elongation of 30 . Similar setsof measurements were also taken at a total elongation of 230 .
