Abstract : Neurologists, neuroscientists, and experimental psychologists study electrical activitywithin the brain by recording voltage fluctuations at the scalp. This iselectroencephalography (EEG). In conventional or "wet" EEG, scalp abrasion and use ofelectrolytic paste are required to insure good electrical connection between sensor andskin. Repeated abrasion quickly becomes irritating to subjects, severely limiting thenumber and frequency of sessions. Several groups have produced "dry" EEG sensorsthat do not require abrasion or conductive....-...,..tested for theQ1 PC1 bus cardBoth these projects mere sofixare des elopment efforts tonards contributing to dlfferentaspects of Roboucs and lZ1echatronics projects m the Controls and Roboucs Group..
