Abstract : Polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs) have a variety of applications inthe stationary power, mobile power and automotive power sectors. Existing membranetechnology presently permits fuel cell operation at temperatures less than 100پ‍-C underfully saturated conditions. However, several advantages such as easier heat rejection ratesand improved impurities tolerance by the anode electrocatalyst result by operating aPEMFC at elevated temperatures (above 100پ‍-C) and lower relative humidities.
