Abstract	:	In the present work polymer nanocomposites derived from synthetic lithiumhectorite clay (SLH) and polyethylene oxide (PEO) have been prepared and characterizedfor use as polymer electrolytes in lithium ion secondary batteries and fuel cellapplications.
