Abstract	:	One of the major impairments of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM) systems is the introduction of frequency offset errors. An OFDM signal witha frequency offset causes a loss in orthogonality, which introduces intercarrierinterference (ICI) among OFDM subcarriers. In this study, the intercarrier interkrence(ICI) phenomenon will be mathematicaliy derived and illustrated. This study reviews 2published techniques demonstrating intercarrier interference mitigation. Each of themitigation techniques will be modeled and be subjected under computer simulation.
