Abstract	:	In this thesis we give an accurate and general model that can be used to predictshort-mge/time UWB reflection. This reflection occurs when the source a d the receiverare near a single reflecting boundary. Our approach uses an image-based method based onLaplace-transfonn formulation of the Somrnafeld half-space problem. The boundarybetween two mediums is replaced by a point source of given strength and location. Thecomponent amplitude of the image is chosen such that transverse electric and magneticfields are continuous across the boundary. The mmplde field formulation is based on asimple branch-integral consisted in the reflection coefficient.
