Abstract	:	This research is about the design and implementation of an adaptive filter onTexas Instruments (TI) TMS320C6711 Digital Signal Processor. Least Mean Square(LMS) algorithm-using momentum is used in this design. Active Noise Cancellation(ANC) is done using the adaptive filter. An adaptive system can automatically adaptin the face of changing environments and changing system requirements. So anadaptive filter will be able to change with the signal, or to learn the incoming signal'scharacteristics. Adaptive filters are computational devices that attempt to model therelationships between two or more signals in an iterative manner.
