Abstract : Capacity fade of commercial Sony US 18650 Li-ion batteries cycled at highdischarge rates was studied at ambient temperature. The capacity losses were estimated tobe 13.2 and 16.9 for batteries cycled 300 times at discharge rate of 2 C and 3 C. Atdischarge rate of 1 C, battery loses only 9.5 of its capacity after 300 cycles.
