Abstract	:	In this work, we examine the seasonal and longitudinal variation of equatorial plasmadepletions. Due to their three-dimensional structure, we also refer to them as equatorialtopside channels. All channels are found to be comprised of contiguous simple-channelscale (< 150 km longitudinal width)) substructure. We interpret the substructure as parallelrising channels of depleted plasma. Three classes of structure are identified, based on thewidth of the channel and the number of internal simple channels.
