Abstract : Power efficient circuits are becoming more important as technology advances tousing more portable devices such as cell phones, walkmans, and llaptop computers. AClass G Amplifier is a power amplifier that can achieve better power efficiency than theClass B Amplifier. This thesis presents using an operational amplifier with a Class Gpower stage and feedback to lower the total harmonic distortion of the amplifier. Thisthesis shows how to solve the stability problems associated with the Class G Amplifier.Also presented here is the examined efficiency of this amplifier.
