Abstract	:	Digital signal processing applications rely on high speed high precision data conver-sion systems. A time-interleaved analog to digital converter (ADC) achieves highsampling rate by multiplexing a bank of slow ADCs operating in parallel. However,time and gain mismatches among the slow ADCs can degrade significantly the per-formance of the overall converter. To overcome this problem, the mismatches can befirst estimated and then corrected by applying digital filters to the sample sequencesproduced by the slow ADCs. This document demonstrates and analyzes an efficientdigital blind calibration method for estimating the timing offsets and gain mismatchesin M-channel time-interleaved ADC.The calibration method is first illustrated by considering the estimation of thegain and timing mismatch for the case of M = 2 slow ADCs, when the input signalis slightly oversampled, a frequency band around the zero frequency is created where,..tested for theQ1 PC1 bus cardBoth these projects mere sofixare des elopment efforts tonards contributing to dlfferentaspects of Roboucs and lZ1echatronics projects m the Controls and Roboucs Group..
