Abstract	:	Porphyry copper deposits in southeastern Arizona belong to a cluster of 38mineralized centers covering a region extending from northern Mexico to westernNew Mexico and southern Arizona Presently, some of these deposits are beingactively mined and the rest are prospects or abandoned mining sites, As a result ofthe large number of porphyry copper deposits in this region, research on theinteraction between mineralized centers and the environment is important; inparticular, the dispersion characteristics of acid-generating metal-enriched materialsat the shallow alluvial margins of these centers, The present research uses remotesensing techniques, groundwater chemistry, trace element, and mineralogical analysisto characterize dispersion chemistry surrounding porphyry copper deposits in theSilver Bell Mountains- Hyperspectral imagery obtained by the AirborneVisible/Infrared Spectrometer and HyMap are used to map supergene minerals byanalyzing their spectral profiles in the visible and short wave infiared regions of thetested for theQ1 PC1 bus cardBoth these projects mere sofixare des elopment efforts tonards contributing to dlfferentaspects of Roboucs and lZ1echatronics projects m the Controls and Roboucs Group..
