Abstract	:	Accelerated soil erosion in Malawi, Southern Afi-ica, increasingly threatens agriculturalproductivity, given current and projected population growth trends. Previous attempts todocument soil erosion potential have had limited success, lacking appropriateinformation and diagnostic tools. This study utilized geomatics technologies and thelatest available information from topography, soils, climate, vegetation, and land use ofa watershed in southern Malawi.
