Abstract : The thesis introduces a new idea in the manufacturing of nanophased structuralcomposites. Utilization of high magnetic field effect during the curing stage of epoxyresin could force the alignment of nanoparticles into a preferred direction. The projectinvolved investigating possible correlations between certain mechanical and electricalproperties of these nanocomposites. Dielectric properties and conductivity of thesematerials were considered in this work as well. Additionally, Matlab was used to modeltrajectories of nanoparticles in these resins when subjected to high uniform magneticfields while the matrix is still fluid..
