Abstract	:	In this thesis. we present several system-level power optimization techniques for real-time distributed embedded systems, based on dynamic voltage scaling, dynamic powermanagement, and management of peak power and variance of the power profile.Dynamic voltage scaling has been widely acknowledged as a powerful technique totrade off dynamic power consumption and delay.
