Abstract : Our perception of and relationship with our natural environment is shapedby the dominant cultural perspectives held toward the environment. Thiscomparative study is based on the assumption that there is a marked differencebetween these cultural perspectives in lndia and the United States, and becausejournalists caw cultural notions to the newsroom. these differences are likely tosurface in media coverage of environmental issues.
