Abstract	:	In this work, different Rotylenchulus renformis nematode population numbersaffecting cotton plants were spectrally classified using Self-organized Maps. Thehyperspectral reflectance of cotton plants affected by different nematode populationnumbers were analyzed in order to extract information from the signal that would lead toa fieldworthy methodology for predicting nematode population numbers extant in aplant's rhizosphere.
