Abstract	:	Photonic Crystal is one of the emerging research topics in recent years. It is alsoknown as photonic band-gap material which is composed of periodic dielectric materialstructures. Photonic crystal can forbid a certain frequency light from propagating. Thisfeature makes it possible for people to control light and exhibit anomalous phenomena whichare impossible in the conventional optics. Photonic crystals can be used to manipulate widevariety of wavelengths of lights and can be fabricated using wide variety materials andfabrication methods.
