Abstract : Research on lab-on-a-chip devices fabricated by traditional microfabricationtechniques are gaining importance in the field of analytical chemistry. In particular thereis an increasing demand for miniaturized biosensors based on enzymes owing to theirapplications in clinical analysis. With respect to Capillary Electrophoresis (CE)microchips, enzymes can impart a greater degree of selectivity. The technique ofelectrochemical polymerization was used to immobilize glucose oxidase on the CE.
