Abstract	:	The dissertation introduces a new constructive approach to the problemof boundary stabilization of linear parabolic partial dierential equations (PDEs).The approach is based on an infinite-dimensional extension of the backsteppingmethod. Using a Volterra integral transformation, the unstable plant isconverted to an exponentially stable target system and the control gain is found as.
