Abstract : With the need for alternative energy resources, solar cell research utilizing solarenergy to produce electrical energy has emerged as an important area of research withgreat potential. In this dissertation, various oxide nanostructures are explored to improvethe overall performance of dye-sensitized solar cells. This study examines the solar cellperformance of: 1e Ti02 nanoparticle film with varying particle sizes, 2e Ti02-IT0nanocomposite films.
