Abstract	:	The determination and analysis of flow-volume loops is an essential part of themanagement of patients with obstructive or restrictive lung diseases. Although theflow-volume loops constitute a clear indication and provide useful information aboutventilation, the essential time information in them is missing. In a number of cases,the loops include timing marks in 1 second and 3 second intervals indicating FEVland FEV3. The same information is essentially contained in flow versus time orvolume versus time tracings. The aim of this project is to specifically project andstudy the pulmonary data in three dimensions with x (volume), y (flow) and z (time)axes. The flow-volume loops were.
