Abstract	:	The purpose of this study was to evaluate a developed and integrated softwareprogram as a means for the measurement of thoracic and abdominal movements in aperson during normal and forced breathing. This approach is based on processing of avideo image of the person breathing. Measurements taken using this software tooldemonstrate that thoracoabdominal movements differ from person to person dependingon stature, height, weight and gender..
