Abstract : Research on microfluidic devices, mainly fabricated with micromachining technologies, hasdeveloped a variety of miniaturized chemical and biochemical analysis systems. Many differentdevices are under development, ranging from single components such as flow sensors and valvesto complex microfluidic handling systems for chemical analyses, consisting of pumps, valves,flow sensors, chemical detectors, etc., all integrated on a single substrate. In general, thesesystems have scaling advantages for bioanalysis such as reduction in sample size and reagentconsumption, and system portability and disposability. In addition, these systems haveperformance advantages, such as decreased analysis time, parallel analyses, and the potentials for.
