Abstract : Acceleration factors of dielectric-charging effects in state-of-the-art RF MEMScapacitive switches are characterized and modeled. From the measured charging anddischarging transient currents at different temperatures and control voltages, densities andtime constants of traps in the switch dielectric are extracted. We find steady-state charge.
