Abstract	:	Close-range photogrammetry and the relatively new technology of terrestrial laserscanning can be considered as complementary rather than competitivetechnologies. For instance, terrestrial laser scanners (TLS) have the ability torapidly collect high-resolution 3D surface information about an object. The sametype of data can be generated using close-range photogrammetric (CRP).
